LITERACY PARTNERSHIPS
for elementary schools
A Pop of Indie partners with elementary schools across Michigan to inspire a lifelong love of reading and writing. Through curated collections of locally written children’s books and meaningful author visits, we create literacy experiences that connect students with the authors behind the stories.
Whether through in-school programming or a community-centered literacy night, our mission is simple: to spark curiosity, connection, and joy through the magic of storytelling, spreading the joy of reading one indie book at a time.

Community Literacy Night: $1,500
A great entry point for schools seeking meaningful author interaction and new books for students. This 60-minute event brings local Michigan authors into your school community for an evening centered around reading, storytelling, and connection.

Expanded Community Literacy Night: $2,500
A larger, more interactive literacy experience designed to expand family engagement and offer students more ways to connect with books, authors, writing, illustration, and creativity.
This 90-minute event includes additional authors, more activity stations, and a larger book bundle.

Literacy Add-Ons
Schools may customize their literacy experience with author-led educational workshops, assemblies, full-day visits, and curated book bundles designed to support your literacy goals.
